When making a purchase with CONCEPT STÅL’s, you also accept CONCEPT STÅL’s general terms and conditions.
By accepting our general terms and conditions, you commit to the terms and conditions in its totality, and that you have read all information and consents to the handling of personal data and cookies in accordance with CONCEPT STÅL’s policy.

1.0 About CONCEPT STÅL / SVETSAB SWEDEN AB (559255-7978)

2.0 Ordering

The purchase agreement is entered and becomes binding when CONCEPT STÅL has accepted the order and full payment has been received. Production begins only after payment has been received. The invoice and/or order confirmation contains information regarding the product(s), price, payment terms, estimated delivery time and delivery address.

Orders can be paid either invoice or through a card payment link. A 2.5% card payment fee applies.

All orders are custom-made and manufactured according to the customer’s specific requirements, measurements and preferences (i.e. unique measurements, material choices, and specifications).

The customer is responsible for ensuring that all measurements and specifications provided in the offer, order confirmation and/or invoice are correct.

Leadtime: Our production lead time is approximately 4-6 weeks from the date of order confirmation and receipt of full payment. Depending on the complexity of the product, material availability or production schedule, the lead time may be extended to approximately 8–12 weeks.

2.1 Returns & Right of Withdrawal

All orders and products are custom-made and manufactured according to the customer’s specific requirements, measurements and preferences (i.e. unique measurements, material choices, and specifications).

As products are individually produced and customized upon request, the right of withdrawal and cancellation does not apply in accordance with Swedish consumer legislation The Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59) (with the exception for goods made according to the consumer’s specifications). (Lag (2005:59) om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler, undantaget för varor som tillverkats efter konsumentens anvisningar).

Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to business customers.

2.2 Custom-Manufactured Products

All products are manufactured according to the customer’s approved measurements, drawings, specifications, material selections and finish. The customer is responsible for ensuring that all submitted measurements, specifications and other order information are accurate before production begins.

By approving the order confirmation and/or invoice, the customer confirms that all measurements, specifications, materials and finishes are correct. CONCEPT STÅL is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information approved or supplied the customer.

Once production has started, changes or cancellations cannot normally be accepted. Any requested changes may result in additional costs and must be approved CONCEPT STÅL before production continues.

2.3 Manufacturing Tolerances

All products are individually handcrafted. Minor variations in dimensions, welding, polishing, grain direction, surface finish and appearance may occur.

Reasonable manufacturing tolerances may apply depending on the product design and manufacturing method.

Such variations are normal characteristics of handcrafted products and shall not be regarded as defects.

2.4 Material and Surface Finish

Stainless steel is a natural industrial material and may exhibit minor variations in colour tone, grain direction, polishing pattern, weld appearance and surface finish.

Product images and samples are intended as guidance only. Differences between photographs, samples and the delivered product may occur due to the handcrafted manufacturing process, lighting conditions, material batches and screen settings.

Such variations are natural characteristics of stainless steel and handmade production and shall not be regarded as defects.

3.0 Delivery

The delivery time is stated in the order confirmation. Delivery dates are estimates unless otherwise expressly agreed. Should delays in delivery occur (without us notifying you of a longer delivery time), please contact us at e-mail address: info [at] conceptstal.se.

Orders are shipped from Sweden (EU). We normally ship all orders on pallet(s) using DHL within the EU, and UPS for orders placed outside of the EU. Once your order is shipped, a shipping confirmation with a tracking link will be sent to the order email address. You can use this link to track and follow your order shipment status.

3.1 Goods damaged during transport?
If you notice that the package is visibly damaged upon delivery, the damage must be reported immediately to the shipping carrier upon receipt.

3.2 Import duties

If an order is shipped to a delivery address outside the EU, you may be subject to import duties and taxes applicable when the shipment reaches the delivery address. You as a customer are fully responsible for payment of any such import duties, taxes or similar fees. We have no control over these charges and they may vary from one country to another. If you have any questions in this regard you should always contact your local customs office.

4.0 Prices

CONCEPT STÅL reserves itself for price changes, final sales and any factual errors that may be found on site, email or in our advertisements. Factual errors mean, for example, but not exclusively, possible price errors and product descriptions.

5.0 Product characteristics and care

Stainless steel is a durable material that naturally develops signs of use over time.

Fine scratches, fingerprints, patina and other marks resulting from normal use are expected characteristics of the material and do not constitute manufacturing defects. High-shine polished surfaces are more subject to scratches than brushed polishing. We always recommend using placemats to avoid unnecessary scratching. We do not replace products that have been damaged after use.

6.0 Complaints

All products from CONCEPT STÅL undergo careful quality control in several stages before being packed, shipped and leaving our workshop.

6.1 How do you proceed with a complaint?
If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect or error it must always be reported to info@conceptstal.se. Enter your name, your address, e-mail address, order number, photos of the defect and a description of the error. No later than 3 days from the date of delivery.

Note that all complaints are handled via email only.

Transport Damage: If your order is defective or incorrect upon delivery, the damage must be reported immediately to the shipping carrier upon delivery, and to CONCEPT STÅL as soon as possible but no later than 5 business days after delivery.

Manufacturing Defects: Complaints regarding manufacturing defects are handled in accordance with the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköplagen). You have the right to file a complaint regarding a product if it can reasonably be considered to have a manufacturing defect. You should notify us within a reasonable time after discovering the defect, but no later than 5 business days after delivery. We reserve the right to reject a complaint if the product is not considered defective under applicable consumer protection legislation. In the event of an approved claim, we will primarily repair the product.

The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for returning the product.

7.0 Limitation of liability

We take no responsibility for indirect damages that may occur due to the product.

We do not accept responsibility for delays / errors due to circumstances beyond the company’s control (Force Majeure). These circumstances can be, for example, labor dispute, fire, war, government decision, reduced or no delivery from supplier.

Furthermore, no responsibility is taken for any changes to products / product properties that have been changed the respective supplier and other factors beyond our control.

8.0 Product information

We reserve the right to make printing errors on this website and the final sale of products. Since all products are handmade, images are intended as illustrations only and may not exactly reflect the appearance of the delivered product. Differences may occur due to lighting conditions, screen settings, photography and the handcrafted manufacturing process.

9.0 Information about Cookies

According to the Electronic Information Act, visitors to a website must, for privacy purposes, be informed that cookies are used.The information in the cookie can be used to track a user’s browsing. A cookie is a small text file that the website you visit requests to be saved on your computer to provide access to various functions. You can set your browser to automatically deny cookies. 10.0 Personal information

By shopping at CONCEPT STÅL, you accept our data protection policy and our processing of your personal data. We protect your privacy and do not collect more information than necessary to process your order. We never sell or pass on your information to third parties without legal basis. CONCEPT STÅL is responsible for the processing of personal data that you have provided to us as a customer. Your personal data is processed us to be able to handle your order and in those times when you have requested newsletters or promotional offers – to be able to adapt the marketing to your individual needs. The information below is a summary of how we store and process your data in accordance with the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

CONCEPT STÅL reserves the right to change the General Terms, prices, range, descriptions or images on the website at any time.
